I attended Central Washington University from 1992-1996 and received my Bachelor of Arts in Education with a dual major in both Elementary Education (K-8) and Special Education (K-12). I taught in Special Education at both the Elementary and Middle School levels prior to coming to Kittitas Elementary in 2009.

I also received my Professional Certification in the summer of 2011.

I taught Special Education at both the elementary and middle school levels for 5 years (1996-2001) prior to starting my family.

I stayed home for 6 years raising my 3 children while subbing part time in the Kittitas School District.

I worked (in conjunction with the Kittitas School District) for the Achieve Online Program from February of 2007 to June of 2009.

I began teaching Elementary Special Education at Kittitas Elementary in September of 2009, and continue to do so presently.

I am privileged to work with the amazing and talented students here at Kittitas each and every day.

I have lived in Kittitas County since attending Central Washington University in 1992.

My husband built our home in the Cle Elum area in 1996 and we have resided there ever since. I have three daughters who attend school here in Kittitas.

My husband is the school counselor, wrestling coach and athletic director at Kittitas Secondary.
